I never could understand how guardian angels worked.
I get the idea that if someone is in a horrible accident and comes through unscathed, then one might say that the guardian angel did its job. But I never understood it in cases of injury.
Which makes me wonder how severe an injury can one sustain before the believer says the guardian angel failed to do its job. If a person becomes a vegetable in an accident, does the guardian angel still get credit for saving their life?
Do the number of injuries play a role in giving credit to a guardian angel? Is there a cutoff point at which one would say, “well, if it was only the three broken ribs I’d thank the guardian angel, but since they suffered a ruptured spleen, now I’m not so sure.”
I dunno.
