I too find myself missing him so much. There’s no one as ferocious, clever and sharp as Christopher Hitchens around. I hope someone fills the void. Sam Harris is simply too polite! Despite what the British media says, I think Richard Dawkins is also too polite. Christopher Hitchens went straight for the jugular every time. Watching him debate a theist was like watching a lion stalk and bring down a water buffalo.

  Agree. As much as I admire Harris and Dawkins, neither one can rival Christopher in his eloquent ferocity.

I’ve raised a few glasses to Hitch recently. He was always so much more succinct than anyone else, had an ability to distill an argument down to a single point and explain exactly why the theist side of that argument was ridiculous.
Dude, I hope for your sake that you’re gone forever and not in heaven, ‘cos you’d hate it there.
