Just birthing pains? That’s not fair. You can’t forget about menstrual pains and/or PMS. I can’t tell you how many times I wished I can bear those in place of my wife.

Well I’d want it to be that Men would be the ones who are experiencing the pain of a woman’s birthing.
Thus- Abortion would be a Sacrament. And every child becomes a desired child.
Pain is a great demotivator. I’ve noticed that many fools are much less inclined to discontinue assaulting me physically, with the more pain I inflict upon them.

You know, a long time ago, when I was watching the anime “crest of the stars” (highly recommended if only for the fact that it was a novel adapted into an anime), they were talking about the concept of a child of love. Meaning 2 people who love each over and made a child because of it. I’ve always liked that idea.
Also, yes, abortion wouldn’t be brought into doubt if men could have pregnancy forced upon them…

Ok, if I were Goddess, in addition to what Winston said, I would make it so that no child could be conceived without a conscious act of intent on the part of both parties at the time of intercourse. You have to both have sex with the clear intent to conceive a child. No more pain in childbirth either.
Second. All people, at some point before their 25th birthday get “magically” switched to the other gender for a full year.
All children would be wanted children. Child abuse would plummet.
