Psalms put me to sleep. I’m quite awake.

A life free of double standards,
can be quite the burden to take,
but walking through existence,
I’d rather carry the truth- wide awake!

If you’re interested in becoming better at poetry, I recommend Stephen Fry’s book “The Ode Less Travelled”, especially the audio version if you can get it. Highly entertaining, very easy to follow and good information.

In it’s defense, reading tea leaves can be fun, as long as you treat the fortune to be no more realistic than fortune cookies. :p
